<rant> WTF Apple.

So, I bought my first Ringtone from the iTunes store on my iPhone. I’ve got to say, the lack of ‘traditional’ ringtones made the choice rather difficult, and after much deliberation, I chose a nice little clip from Adelaide band The Sundance Kids of their song Drive Away. Normally I’d make these things in Garageband, but I thought, what the hell, I’ll pay for the convenience and get it from iTunes… hopefully the band gets a few cents out of the deal.

So it downloads over the air, installs, and is playable. All is fine. But then I sync the iPhone… iTunes took the ringtone off my phone, and presented me with this lovely error message. WTH Apple, since when do you make software so stupid?

And while I’m ranting, why can’t I see when rentals are due to be released from the iTunes store anymore? Why can’t I see whether the movie is available in HD from an AppleTV anymore? And where the hell is my shopping cart?! Gah. </rant>
